Autumn's colors usher in colder weather
Each season presents a change in wardrobe. Plants change from many shades of green to deep reds and bright golds. We know it is time to prepare the garden for its time of rest and to bring out our warm sweaters and boots.
As our interests turn to indoor activites, cookbooks are scoured for new dishes to prepare, cookies to bake. Crafting ideas are implimented. Fabric, paper, markers, scissors and glue are ready for project creation. Here in Annisquam there is a flurry of activity preparing for the annual Annisquam Christmas Fair that takes place shortly after Thanksgiving. There has been a search to find items that can be created by the members of the Annisquam Sewing Circle. Each year there is a flood of new ideas. This year is no exception.
